Paige lost a tooth during the two weeks she lived at Mom & Dad's. She tells me on the phone, "I lost a tooth today, but I'm not telling Daddy until after the tooth fairy comes." "Oh, really! Well, hey, is Grandma or someone around that I can talk to?"
My husband is a student minister too. Blessings as you go through this crazy adventure for God. If your life is like ours there is never a dull moment...
My husband and I share our lives with the group of about thirty teenagers in our youth ministry. I stay home with our three little ones and cram in work as a writer for a public relations firm during naptimes, after the kids go to bed, and occasionally when they're awake and I'm forced to plop them in front of the TV, surround them in a sea of cheerios, lock my door, and hope the person on the other end of the phone believes I have it together.

You guys are so very disappointing. Not telling her the truth ... there really is NO tooth fairy ... but SANTA is the one who leaves the quarters.
